On average, the President of the Regional Government estimates that he receives daily complaints from the National Elections Commission.
“I have one or two complaints a day since the elections began. It’s ridiculous, but I can’t do anything about it, and I will remain present in the community.”
Asked if his official visits would cause further controversy, the President tersely replied, “do you want me to stay inside Quinta Vigia behind closed doors?”
