For the first time, the Health Service of the Region (SESARAM, EPERAM) has received eight North American pre-medical students who will carry out observational internships in a clinical environment. This initiative comes within the scope of a cooperation agreement between Hospital Dr. Nélio Mendonça (HNM) and Atlantis, an institution based in Washington D.C.
This partnership aims to enhance collaboration and liaison between the health systems of the United States of America and Portugal, through the establishment of long-term links and connections with the United States of America and other international health professionals and institutions.
