After the PS denounced worrying cases of land that requires cleaning, as a way to prevent fires and public health, the Mayor of Funchal has assured that the owners have been officially notified.
In addition, the City Council itself has carried out this type of intervention on municipal land, highlighted Cristina Pedra.
Councilman João Rodrigues also clarified that there are plots of land with several owners, which makes the procedures difficult.
“But we are attentive and notifying people,” he said.
