According to IPMA, another heat wave may be on its way to Madeira, influenced by the Azores anticyclone and the North African coast. Even so, temperatures will hover around 30 degrees Celsius, with humidity being in the low 30s.
Temperatures are not expected to be as high as they were two weeks ago, yet Madeira could still be placed under an orange or even a red weather warning. That said, temperatures are expected to drop to around 25ºC on Friday.
The wind, which is expected to offer nothing more than weak gusts, should not affect the airport’s operationality.
