The National Tourism Association, through the interpreter guide Mara Cardoso, suggests that the Regional Government should restrict the access of vehicles to the regions most popular tourism sites.
Already, visiting programmes have already been changed to provide relief during peak hours, and a suggestion has been made that all popular areas should be gated to prevent overcrowding of limited car parking facilities.
