All those who were diagnosed with dengue fever by the Region’s health services in 2012 (more than 1,000) will be invited to complete an online survey, as part of a comparative study between symptomatic and asymptomatic dengue cases.
The study, which started at the beginning of this year is a joint venture between the University of Madeira (UMa), through the Faculty of Life Sciences, and SESARAM. The study is currently funded by the the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT).
