From the 31st of December 2020 until the 26th of September, 380,842 Covid vaccines have been administered in the Autonomous Region of Madeira. So far, 201,177 people have received their first vaccine, while 200,498 individuals have been fully vaccinated.
According to provisional data, collected on the 26th of September, through the National Platform for Registration and Management of Vaccines (VACCINE), 81% of the resident population has already been fully inoculated, and 83% have received their first vaccination. However, it is important to emphasise that the Autonomous Region of Madeira is awaiting the validation of the vaccines carried out on the 5,762 who are listed as ‘Covid Recovered.’
This validation by the Shared Services of the Ministry of Health is crucial for attributing the actual percentage rate of those who are fully vaccinated in the Region to date.
