Images of a PSP agent helping an elderly person in need, and, later, pushing a vehicle in Praça do Município have gone viral.
The police officers actions were captured by Rui Silva, ASPRESS photographer, and then shared on social networks, including the official Public Security Police Facebook page.
Commenting on the police officers actions, Rui Silva said that when the officer saw a man with mobility difficulties struggling he jumped off his motorcycle and helped him, moments later, the same officer helped push a broken down vehicle.
“After all” said the photographer, “the PSP are here for more than just fining people!”
