The Prime Minister of Portugal, António Costa, will be visiting Madeira on Sunday to present the Socialist Party’s global strategy called ‘Recover Portugal, Guarantee the Future,’ which will open the party’s XXIII National Congress at midday on the 6th of June at the Casino da Madeira.
Other things he may wish to talk about, is the momentous decision to allow 12,000 UK football fans to mingle with Portuguese fans, all of whom were not wearing masks and definitely not observing the social distancing rules at the recent football matches held on the mainland, which has been said to be a contributory factor for why Portugal, and indeed Madeira, has been removed from the UK green list, subsequently allowing the pleasure of a few, to diminish the ray of hope in the rest of the population.
Well done!
