While the Municipality of Câmara de Lobos congratulates itself on the new proposed cable car project, which many believe will bring ‘added value’ to Curral das Freiras and Jardim da Serra, especially as this is an already popular tourist attraction, not everyone is happy with the new idea.
Taking to his Facebook page, environmentalist Raimundo Quintal, wrote a brief message of what he thought of the proposal, and he is not the only one, as many have criticised the new project, calling it a waste of money!
Interestingly enough, a message on the comments section stated that the construction of a cable car connecting Curral das Freiras and Jardim da Serra was originally proposed 47 years ago.
