With 18 flights arriving today, it felt like the first stirrings of normality at Madeira International Airport – Cristiano Ronaldo, as buses, taxis, TVDE vehicles, and people waited for friends, loved ones and holiday makers to arrive.
According to local newspaper, JM, the vast majority of holiday makers had already had their PCR tests done in their countries of origin, and had nothing but praise for the professionalism and organisation at the airport.
Not only was the café full, but a few surreptitious hugs were spotted as well.
