The Civic Association for the Defence and Protection of the Laurissilva Forest (DPFL), is holding a press conference tomorrow afternoon at 4 pm.
The “DPFL is a Non-Governmental Organisation for the Environment, based in the Municipality of São Vicente. It’s main aim is to defend both the natural heritage and the environment of the Laurissilva Forests in the Macaronesia and the African continent and all animal and plant life that make these forests their home, through conservation, preservation, communication, promotion, dissemination and education. These forests are rare natural history sites and therefore of immense importance to the world and humanity as a whole.
The DPFL will be developed at a regional, national and international level.
