A young man was the victim of a robbery and assault last night (8th if January).
The victim, a young man aged 17 years old, was attacked by strangers who approached him in the La Vie area of Funchal. Luckily he was able to escape his assailants and ran home, however, his parents worried about his condition requested assistance from the Portuguese Red Cross (CVP). On their arrival they quickly ascertained the young man’s condition, who was suffering injuries to his face and lower limbs and immediately took him to hospital, where he was placed under observation.
