Over the weekend a Social Security Institute of Madeira (ISSM) Administrative Service employee tested positive for Covid.
According to local newspaper JM, the woman had come into contact with three other ISSM employees who are now self-isolating.
Once the situation is under control the ISSM services will open as normal.
Furthermore, an employee of the O Golfinho school has also tested positive. According to the Regional Education Secretary’s digital media platform, several staff have been placed in isolation, and 120 children will remain at home until further notice.
