Pedro Ramos – Firm Anti Covid Measures to Remain

Controversial or not, the measures implemented by the Region in response to the pandemic will  continue, says the Regional Secretary for Health and Civil Protection, Pedro Ramos.

During a press conference he confirmed that the region will not relax any of its anti-covid measures notwithstanding the regions strict control over the situation. Confirming that for the foreseeable future the mandatory wearing of masks in public spaces, restrictions on home visits and business hours will continue.

He also confirmed that “at this moment, considering the global epidemiological situation and with the opening of borders, there can be no additional relaxation in relation to the activities that are already in place.”
