A source revealed to newspaper Correio da Manhã today, that no one knows when the Pestana CR7 hotel located on Avenida Sá Carneiro, Funchal, which has been closed since the beginning of the pandemic, will re-open.
The article, which appeared in the papers supplement, Vidas, also detailed the affect the detrimental affect the pandemic has had on the Aveiro family. In May, Katia Aveiro announced the closure of her restaurant Casa Aveiro by Dolores, in Brazil. According to sources, “Katia was devastated, because it meant the end of her dream, in addition to all the investment made in the restaurant, which was thought out in detail and built in her image.”
Furthermore, the Cascatas e Girassóis space, located in the Marina Shopping, Funchal, and managed by Ronaldo’s family, has also closed. The paper was quick to mention, that the restaurant had been caught fraudulently using photographs that bore no resemblance to the dishes served. Finally, Cristiano Ronaldo’s brand store, situated in the Vilamoura marina, Algarve, and supervised by the footballer’s older sister, Elma Aveiro, has also closed. According to the newspaper, the space was sold for 1,000,000 euros.
