Turismo de Portugal has announced that they have created a new ‘Portugal Travel Insurance’ which is available to all visitors who reside outside the Portuguese territory, but who are planning to visit mainland Portugal or its territories for their holidays.
The travel insurance which has been adapted to cope with Covid-19, covers Portugal as a whole (including territories) and includes, in particular, medical, surgical, pharmaceutical and hospital expenses associated with Covid-19. Other ‘pandemic’ benefits include cover for holiday interruptions, extensions due to illness as well as cancellations.
