Dog Found With Hole in its Head

With rising unemployment, mental health issues and increasing occurrences of assaults and robberies, the islands strays are also suffering, as small minded individuals are now turning their attentions to the numerous dogs and cats that roam Madeira’s streets.

Today, the 30th of July,  the Association Ajuda e Alimentar Cães rescued a dog in Ribeira Brava who had been deliberately hit over the head and was left with a gaping wound.  The dog has been transferred to the AuQima ClinicaVet for treatment, and the association ask that if anyone could help them with their vet fees, to either contact the association via their Facebook page, or make on online donation to IBAN PT50 0010 0000 5209 0190 0019 1.

No animal deserves to be treated like this.
