The ‘Dom Pedro Madeira- Ocean Beach Hotel’ re-opens on the 16th of July.
Located on the east coast of the island, the Dom Pedro Madeira is situated close to the beautiful bay of Machico, close to the ‘Banda D’Além’ beach. The hotel is a 5 minute drive from the Madeira International Airport and 25 minutes from the centre of Funchal.
With regard to hygiene and safety conditions, the Dom Pedro Group assures travellers that they have implemented an internal manual of safety procedures and prevention measures, according to the guidelines recommended by the General Directorate of Health and Tourism of Portugal. This includes the acquisition of equipment, signage and enhanced hygiene as well as disinfection of public spaces, restaurant, swimming pools, rooms and all communal areas.
A company spokesperson confirmed that “these procedures allowed us to obtain the ‘Clean & Safe Establishment’ seal, awarded by D’Além’ beach and which certifies the unit, as a safe place for its customers and employees.”
