IASaúde Does NOT Confirm Third Covid-19 Case

The epidemiological bulletin issued by IASaúde maintains that there are currently only two active cases of Covid-19 in Madeira, contrary to what has been reported in the DGS Epidemiological bulletin today.  According to the DIÁRIO, the DGS has attributed a case of a Madeiran living outside the region to the island.

Madeira has 90 recovered cases and two active cases. These active cases concern those diagnosed in the third week of June, during routine airport surveillance, and remain in a dedicated quarantine hotel unit.

So far:

• 1,510 people have contacted the IASaúde psychological support line (291 212 399) with 147 people receiving ongoing help from health professionals.

• 8,964 calls have been made to the SRS24 Line contacts (800 24 24 20) to date.

• The total number of samples processed at SESARAM’s Clinical Pathology Laboratory (EPE) is 22,777.

• 20,186 people called in for Covid-19.
