New Rules for Those Travelling to Madeira and Porto Santo

Those flying to Madeira and Porto Santo should be aware of the rules currently in force, as well as those that will come into force as of the 1st of July. To simplify ‘life’ for travellers, IASAÚDE has made a short video.

Please note, that until the 1st of July, mandatory quarantine remains in effectThis has however, been reduced to seven daysThose passengers travelling with a negative Covid-19 test, taken 72 hours before disembarking, will be allowed to travel to their final destination

From the 1st of July, anyone travelling without a negative Covid-19 test will be tested at either airport.

As Madeira and Porto Santo are both considered ‘safe destinations’ I would like to advise all travellers to have their Covid-19 tests in their country of origin, to ensure that the islands remain ‘safe’ for both citizens and visitors to the islands for now and for the future.

The video is linked below, although in Portuguese it is easy to follow.
