Águas e Resíduos da Madeira (ARM) has issued a statement confirming their changes in the waste collection service in the municipalities, of Câmara de Lobos, Porto Santo, Machico, Ribeira Brava, and Santana, as well as in the waste reception services, due to the public holiday on the 1st of July.
The Funchal City Council (CMF) was recently notified by the Administrative and Fiscal Court of Funchal of an unfavourable decision in the case involving the municipality and Águas e Resíduos da Madeira (ARM).
As Wednesday, the 1st of November is a public holiday, ARM – Águas e Resíduos da Madeira, S.A. has issued a statement advising of the changes to their services in the municipalities of Machico, Santana, Ribeira Brava, Câmara de Lobos, and Porto Santo.
ARM – Águas e Resíduos da Madeira issued a statement earlier today confirming their scheduled waste collection service changes in the municipalities of Câmara de Lobos, Machico, Porto Santo, Ribeira Brava, and Santana, due to the municipal Câmara de Lobos public holiday on the 4th of October (Wednesday) and the national public holiday on the 5th (Thursday).
ARM – Águas e Resíduos da Madeira, S.A., has advised that due to Easter there will be changes to their customer service, reception, and collection of waste in the participating municipalities, namely, Câmara de Lobos, Machico, Porto Santo, Ribeira Brava, and Santana.
When questioned by reporters this morning, the Mayor of Funchal, Pedro Calado, did not elaborate on the investigation of former Funchal Mayor Paulo Cafôfo, but stressed: "what needs to be investigated will be investigated."
