The Municipality of Calheta has announced that they will provide €2,500 a month in financial support to Quinta Pedagógica dos Prazeres. The measure, was unanimously approved at a chamber meeting, and aims to ensure that the centre continues to operate both commercially and as a tourist attraction.
Those attending the meeting, agreed that the work that the Quinta Pedagógica dos Prazeres has done over the years, both socially and as a internationally recognised company in the production of jams, liqueurs and ciders should be supported during the current crisis.
