Face shields (Viseiras) can now be used in the Horàrio buses in Funchal and in Pingo Doce supermarkets (probably in other stores as well). The price is less than 5€. They allow for free breathing and adequate viewing. They come flat as a pan, and you need to fiddle a bit to mount the shield and the rubber band on the frame. The shield itself can be cut down to size a bit. Don’t think about your hairdo while you wear one, and carrying them around in the hand is cumbersome. Certainly, a clever inventor will come up with a folding version soon. Let’s do away with masks!
Antibody tests are being offered by some labs already, and your intrepid correspondent will have one done on Friday, to tell the story.
