Storm Approaching

The above-average temperatures are set to end as of tomorrow, the 6th of April, as a new weather front emerges.

Starting tomorrow, the weather is expected to worsen as rain and winds move in over the island. Meteorologists predict that by Tuesday, conditions will further decline with frequent showers and a chance of thunderstorms.

Winds are expected from the southern quadrant, being stronger in mountainous regions with gusts reaching up to 80 km/h. At the same time, the maximum temperature will drop sharply, reducing by up to 10°C in some parts of the territory. Minimum temperatures will vary between 8 and 12°C.

A dust forecast has been issued for Monday, the 6th of April but is expected to subside by Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities recommend close monitoring of weather forecasts and possible warnings, due to the uncertainty associated with the positioning of the depression in the coming days.
