The adverse weather conditions affecting the Madeira Archipelago led to the cancellation of 92 flights (arrivals and departures), according to data from ANA – Aeroportos de Portugal released at 21:00 this evening.
Since this morning, 13 aircraft have landed at Madeira International Airport – Cristiano Ronaldo, and 17 have departed. However, a majority of flights have been cancelled in advance by the airlines. Two additional flights are planned for today: Ryanair’s FR 398 from Brussels Charleroi, scheduled to depart at 23:00, and Ryanair’s FR 364 from Dublin, scheduled to depart at 23:20.
ANA asks passengers to confirm the status of their flights before heading to the airport, due to adverse weather conditions that may affect airport operationality over the next couple of days.
