Light snow is expected to dust Madeira’s highest peaks from tonight through Tuesday morning.
Officials say the snowfall will be limited to high elevations, as warmer air moves in, raising temperatures and bringing light rain.
Winds will stay weak to moderate from the northwest for now, but could pick up from Wednesday onward. In the highlands, gusts may become strong at times, with Friday bringing a more noticeable increase, especially in northern Madeira and on Porto Santo, where strong winds are expected at times.
