Several puppies were left in a crate by rubbish bins in the Serralhal area of Caniço. The situation was denounced by the CRO Santa Association Cruz, which received the animals.
On their Facebook page, CRO pleaded for the owner to come forward with their mother, so that she can be sterilised to prevent further litters from being abandoned.
