The animal welfare association Ajuda a Alimentar Cães rescued, from a private property, a dog that survived in poor conditions, after numerous unsuccessful attempts to improve her quality of life.
Writing on their social network sites, the association, states:
“They still say that invading private property is a crime. They still say that our work is wrong. Once again we entered, and we entered to save another life that would now be dead without our intervention.”
The dog, named Preta, who was urgently hospitalised, is a 14-year-old Labrador retriever who has faced a lifetime of suffering, but who, despite everything is a real sweetheart.
Ajuda a Alimentar Cães left an appeal on social networks: “After the treatment, we want Preta to spend the last years or months of her life in a home. She doesn’t deserve to die without knowing what it’s like to have a real family. We ask you to help us find a home for old Preta.”
