Political Correctness Weakens Us

While attending the III Congress of Psychologists of Madeira, at the Madeira Congress Centre, Miguel Albuquerque told reporters that there is “a part of the PSD” that is “undermined by political correctness.”

Words that come after being questioned by journalists about yesterday’s statements by Social Democrat, António Capucho, who defended, in an interview with Renascença, that Miguel Albuquerque has to leave the Presidency of the Board of the National Congress of the PSD, following the case of suspected corruption that involves him, even considering that his presence is “pernicious” for the party.

The President of the PSD-M assured those present that he was not surprised by the comments and reaffirmed that he has not been accused or convicted of anything.

In addition, the governor assured that he is not “clinging” to power.  He went on to say,

“If congressmen want me to leave, I will leave. I have no problem. I’m not attached to that place,” he stressed.

The PSD National Congress takes place this weekend in Braga.
