Two foreigners, aged 28 and 29, were assaulted by a knifed assailant this morning in Funchal.
The Madeiran Volunteer Firefighters were called out at 04:00 to the Public Security Police Command, Funchal, as the two victims were bleeding as they reported the incident. One man had a deep cut on his hip and the other had a wounded arm.
The victims were transported to the emergency department of the Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital.
