The regional executive, Miguel Albuquerque has authorised the payment of extraordinary support to cherry and sour cherry producers (companies and farmers).
In accordance with the text of the resolutions, the Governing Council decided to:
“Authorise the payment of an extraordinary financial support to the “Cherry and Sour Cherry Producers – Companies – Process 1″, in the amount of € 3,081.60 (three thousand, eighty-one euros, sixty cents)” and “the payment of an extraordinary financial support to the “Cherry and Sour Cherry Producers – Farmers – Process 2″, in the amount of € 25,705.68 (twenty-five thousand, seven hundred and five euros, sixty-eight cents)”.
With regards to agriculture, it was decided, at this last meeting of the legislature, “to approve the “Regulation establishing the rules for granting extraordinary financial support to onion and cabbage farmers.”
