Madeira recorded 14,730 cases of covid-19 in June, 6,558 more than in May, bringing the daily average at around 491 cases per day.
Fifty-five people died of SARS-CoV-2 virus related complications in June, 41 more deaths than were recorded in May (14).
The current daily hospitalisations stand at 81, compared to 28 in May.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, Madeira has registered 132,614 positive cases, 340 deaths and 130,184 people are said to have recovered from the virus. In terms of tests, more than two million tests have already been carried out (2,792,255).
This is not good news!
