The Associação Ajuda a Alimentar Caes rescued a female dog who was found living in a cage without food or water in Caniço.
‘Luna’, as she is called, is only a year old and was forced to live in a “small cage” said the charity, who also confirmed that the dog was without food and water. She has been taken to the AuQmia clinic where she will be sterilised, and receive the appropriate treatment for her skin and ear infections. Once recovered, she will be looking for a loving person/family to adopt her.
In their Facebook message, the charity said ‘Luna is a docile dog and did not deserve to be treated this way.’
