A fire at a residence in Ribeira Brava caused the death of its occupant this morning. Although the fire was tackled by the Voluntary Firefighters of Ribeira Brava and Ponta do Sol, they were unable to save the person inside.
No further details have been provided, but the Ribeira Brava City Council are monitoring the situation.
