Santander will be exempt from MB Way transfer charges from January 2021, without limiting the amount and number of operations carried out. Using their Santander card, customers are now able to make these transfers free of charge, either on the Bank’s app or MB Way.
In a company statement a spokesperson for the bank said “with this measure, Santander intends to continue to help Portuguese families and promote the use of digital channels for day-to-day operations, conveniently and free of charge.”
