Two British tourists were injured when a wicker toboggan crashed on Caminho do Comboio, in Monte, on Wednesday, the 7th of October.
The man, aged 61, suffered a suspected open fracture to his arm, while the woman, aged 65, sustained a forehead injury and abrasions to her body.
Madeira Volunteer Firefighters attended the scene at 12:25 and transported both casualties to the emergency department at Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital.
