An earthquake registering 1.1 on the Richter scale was reported this morning, off the southwest coast of Ribeira Brava.
The quake was recorded by the Portuguese Institute of Atmosphere and Sea (IPMA) at 01:17.
The coordinates of the seismic event are 32.470° North latitude and 17.116° West longitude. The quake had a depth of 14 km.
