The media outlet DIÁRIO learned from the Regional Command that the Public Security Police (PSP) carried out an inspection of several commercial establishments under the directive ‘Portugal Sempre Seguro!’ and several vehicles.
According to the PSP, the operation resulted in the detection of several administrative offences, affecting both commercial establishments and road inspections. Many of the road violations are alcohol related. These infractions are now being processed with the competent judicial and administrative authorities, according to the security force.
DIÁRIO knows that the inspection was a PSP initiative in collaboration with the Regional Authority for Economic Activities (ARAE).
