Horários do Funchal confirms that due to adverse weather conditions, the bus service to and from Pico do Areeiro will be suspended until Friday, the 20th of March.
In a brief statement, the company thanks all travellers for their understanding and asks all those wishing to use the service to check the company’s website.
The Porto Santo Line has also cancelled its regular Wednesday service due to deteriorating weather conditions.
The Portuguese Institute of Atmosphere and Sea has issued yellow warnings for heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, snow, and sea agitation.
