The Funchal City Council has confirmed that access to the Ecological Park is restricted due to forestry works, and that the Municipal Road of Chão da Lagoa is partially closed.
Access to Chão da Lagoa can, however, be made through the north gate of the Ecological Park, to the area indicated on the map.
The estimated time for the duration of the work is two weeks, and this period may be extended if necessary.
