TAP Air Portugal has informed all passengers that Madeira airport may be affected tomorrow, the 31st of December, due to adverse weather conditions caused by depression ‘Francis.
On their social network pages, TAP writes that “TAP’s operation to/from Funchal may be affected by adverse weather conditions. Before heading to the airport, please check your flight status at: https://www.flytap.com/pt-pt/ferramenta-informacao-voo.”
Passengers with tickets to/from Funchal issued until the 30th of December, for flights on December the 31st can change their ticket for flights up until the 6th of January 2026. This is a like-for-like ticket and is exempt from the usual fees.
