Over Pricing at Farmer’s Market

Last updated on 24th December 2025

Earlier today, a couple revealed that they had been overcharged for half a kilo of figs.  The gentleman in question had thought they were €6.10 when, in fact, they were charged €61.00.

Unfortunately, as they paid by card, they didn’t realise they’d been scammed until later.

Please be careful when purchasing fruits and vegetables at the Farmer’s Market, and ensure that you check the price before you buy and again when the items are weighed.

There is a complaints office tucked away at the far end of the market on the second floor.
