A couple, allegedly tourists, were caught this morning hanging out washing on an improvised washing line strung up between two trees at the Fundoa roundabout, Funchal.
In the images sent to JM, it is possible to see the car parked at the roundabout and several pieces of clothing hanging from a wire placed between two trees. Among other objects were sleeping bags and hiking equipment.
The situation prompted several complaints with people asking, ‘Why are we getting tourists like this?
