More Illegal Camping

Once again, tourists have spent a night in a public space.

Information sent to newsrooms reports that the episode took place at the Vigia Viewpoint, in São Jorge, in a residential area where “the tourists simply parked their vehicles in front of houses and set up camp.”

A resident states that they approached the tourists, telling them that camping was forbidden at the viewpoint. The tourists responded by saying that the owner of the rental caravan had confirmed that they could.”

It was further noted that the name of the rental company was not on the vehicle, giving the impression that the caravan had been rented from an unregistered rental company.
