YouTube channel, Madeira Airport Live, has registered another impressive landing at Madeira-Cristiano Ronaldo International Airport, which is known for being one of the most challenging airports in the world.
The video shows the intense moment when an Estonian Marabu Airbus A320, coming from Nuremberg (Germany), was caught in crosswinds and slammed, bounced, rebalanced, and landed safely at the airport today. Â
The maneouver, unsuitable for the faint of heart, resulted in a safe landing at Cristiano Ronaldo Airport at 17:48 pm.

Up until 18:30 four flights had been cancelled, and a further four were diverted due to the weather conditions.
ANA – Aeroportos de Portugal recommends that all passengers confirm the status of their flight before going to the airport, due to adverse weather conditions.
