The Funchal Cultural and Research Centre (CCIF) is preparing for a week of culture and artistic diversity. Between the 29th of April and the 3rd of May, the centre will host two major events open to the public: the prestigious Italian Film Festival and a concert by “The PostCard Brass Band”.
The 18th Italian Film Festival will showcase four films at the CCIF between the 29th and 30th of April. Dedicated to Italian cinema and culture in Portuguese-speaking countries, the festival brings to Funchal an unprecedented programme that includes national premieres, tributes to classic cinema, meetings and opportunities to discover new talent.
On the 3rd of May, the CCIF will host a jazz concert by The PostCard Brass Band, who promise a night of musical improvisation.
