“Mandolisland” marks the meeting of French composer Vincent Beer Demander with regional music. Through his innovative work, music lovers will be able to new musical experiences inspired by traditional Madeiran music.
In addition to this work, various other repertoires from other composers will be showcased in a new and inspiring way seeking to surprise audiences by the excellence of the interpretation.
This project, which includes renowned Portuguese mandolinist Norberto Gonçalves da Cruz and virtuoso accordionist Slobodan Sarcevic, is based on enabling cultural accessibility to this type of music, with performances taking place throughout all the region’s municipalities.
This show is an experience that celebrates musical richness, offering the population a memorable artistic event that is accessible to everyone. Admission is free.
