Two men defied the waves and the strong sea agitation and walked along a narrow ledge to get a better look from a viewpoint at Garajau beach. As a result, one of them was knocked into the water by a wave and fell several metres while the other managed to skedaddle back to safety. ad
After being rescued by their partner the victim confirmed that they were hurt but safe.
Many believe this serves as a warning to those who take risks in Madeira.
