Dogs, Puppy Eyes and Photographs

Forum Madeira has launched its ‘Dog-Friendly Dogcourse – a competition to find the shopping centre’s four-legged mascot.

This action is in line with the news, already announced, that, as of the 4th of October, Forum Madeira will be officially dog friendly, allowing the entry of pre-registered dogs into the shopping centre.  Registering is easy and can be done through the centre’s online platform.

To participate in the ‘dogcourse’, owners must download the Forum Madeira app, fill out the pre-registration form available in the side menu, go to the Information Desk and present the required documents. After that, all participants receive an identification plate, which must be visible in all photographs.

Registration ends on the 22nd of September and after that, all photographs submitted will be assessed by a jury formed by representatives of Nestlé Purina, the Vasco Gil Kennel, the K9 Training School and the Brandhunters Communication Agency.  They will vote for the most creative, fashionable and innovative high-resolution photography. It is essential that all photos clearly show the dog’s registration plate to ensure that only registered dogs have a chance of becoming the centre’s mascot.

The winner of the Dog-Friendly competition will receive several prizes, including a year’s supply of free Nestlé Purina food, an experimental class at K9 Training School, a voucher worth €500 to be used at the Snochies store, located at Rua da Levada dos Barreiros nº24 in Funchal, and a professional photo session to be held at Forum Madeira.

Good luck to you all.
